STAFF SOUR UP AND pHOTOSHOOT BEHIND THE SCENES!
We’ve had a fantastic time here at Chu Lo over the past few weeks, being kept on our toes as a team to meet the recent demand of an uncountable new number of fans that have been joining the Chu Lo journey as we have been growing. So now that we have our full team finally put together we all gathered to celebrate this achievement with a team Photoshoot day!
But before we get into that, we’d like to introduce you to our fantastic sales team that have joined and completed our staff team!
After leaving university and taking a year our travelling, Julian found a love for the drinks industry following a visit to the wineries of Western Australia.
On returning to the U.K, he spent time running off licenses around Manchester before moving to the world of drinks wholesale and logistics.
Having gained 20 years experience with Matthew Clark, Kuehne and Nagel, he began working with new and emerging drinks brands, finding distribution, routes to market and building sales and marketing plans.
Julian joined Chu Lo to be part of the exciting times ahead for start-up soft drinks brands and to capitalise on the growth and the emerging trend for no and lo alcohol drinking occasions.
When not working, you’ll often find him up a hill, having summited Kilimanjaro as part of a charity climb and completed the three peaks in the UK, or enjoying open water swimming somewhere in a lake!
“Hey! I’m Amy, Chu Lo’s Business Development Manager. I have over 10 years experience in the food and drink industry, having started out working in hospitality I’ve always been excited about new and innovative drinks that create memorable experiences. For the past 5 years I’ve worked in various roles, building craft beer brands in the On Trade! My role as Business Development Manager at Chu Lo is very exciting as it means I get to introduce the brand to lots of new people for the first time across all channels. Its all about getting Chu Lo out there and into the best places in the UK so more and more people can Soup Up there drinks offering!”
We decided that the best way to celebrate the team being all together at one time was to have a photoshoot! We managed to capture fresh images of our new team, our new flavours and the brand overall. These will look great accompanied by posts on our social media, and will give Chu Lo a sour up… so look out for these!

The photoshoot day proved very busy and exciting. We ventured to many different locations to get the best shots possible, from different areas within our office, outdoor locations, bars like The Pixel Bar, and pubs around Manchester. It was great fun thinking of innovative ways to get the best shots possible and adding a Chu Lo spin on the photos! Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased with how the photos turned out in the end. Here’s a few of our favourites from the day…
